WHO WE ARE

Dr. Barbra R. Johnson grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland where she attended Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. Dr. Johnson received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Baldwin-Wallace College in Ohio. She then attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.

Dr. Johnson is licensed to practice full-scope optometry, and can treat eye diseases such as conjunctivitis, eye infections, dry eye, ocular allergic and glaucoma as well as other conditions causing pain or reduced vision. Dr. Johnson has a special interest in prescribing contact lenses and keeps diagnostic fitting sets from simple daily wear disposable lenses to the more difficult fitting kerataconus lenses. Dr. Johnson can also assist you with your pre and post operative Lasix procedures.

Dr. Johnson is a member in good standing of the Maryland Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. She is a member of Johnson and Johnson's Acuvue Brand Speaker Bureau.

In her free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her husband George and teenage daughter, Guinevere.

Mike has had over 25 years of experience in the optical industry and is committed to providing you excellence in your eyewear. He is trained to help you choose a frame that will cater to your visual as well as aesthetic needs. Mike will also aid you in your decision making of a lens material best suited to your prescription.
